JRGC26 Look and Feel

Jostens Renaissance Events

Jostens Renaissance hosts an annual multi-day conference bringing together 2,000+ students
and educators to celebrate, collaborate, and develop strategies for improving school culture.

For the 2026 event, I led the creative direction, owning the concept and visual identity from pitch through execution. I developed a design system that balanced the brand’s “smart and fun” ethos while engaging both student and teacher audiences. The selected concept was met with strong enthusiasm from stakeholders.

I applied the visual identity across promotional and event materials, creating a cohesive and energetic experience.

The Concept: OWN IT

The “Own It” concept is rooted in pride, purpose, and community - positioning JRGC as an energetic, student centered experience that empowers attendees to take an active role in shaping school culture and climate. The branding reflects this mindset by embracing bold, expressive visuals that feel both celebratory and action oriented, reinforcing the idea
that every participant is a change maker. To support this, we introduced sticker style icons as a core visual element, symbolizing the individuality and layered identities each student brings to the community. These graphics can
be mixed and matched, visually reinforcing the idea that culture is something you build and personalize. The interactive, on trend nature of the stickers also invites engagement, encouraging participants to see themselves as co-creators
of the experience.
